This 11Day journey includes the 4 Day paddling adventure down Manambolo River, visit of Tsingy of Bemaraha World Heritage Site, plus sunset at Baobab Avenue.
We start our journey from Antananarivo capital city, then crossing the central highlands before heading to the west.
The exploration of the desolate wide-open spaces of "Menabe" or western region and its people, invites you to step back in time.
You get unique experience on your expedition, while you have a genuine interaction with local villagers, and learn about their way of life and culture.
Explore the Tsingy of Bemaraha World Heritage Site, which reveals the extraordinary history of the Vazimba (Madagascar's first inhabitants) civilisation and its wildlife.
The spectacular limestone pinnacles Tsingy of Bemaraha consists of sharp karst massif cuts by labyrinths, grooves, caves, sinkholes, is unique to the country.
PLEASE NOTE:
During your canoeing trip (rubber canoe), you will experience an authentic bush camping on a sandy river bank, while you have candle light dinners under a blanket of stars and campfires every evening.

Arrival, meet and greet at Ivato airport and transfer to the hotel located in Antananarivo capital city.
Dinner and overnight at LE CHALET DES ROSES (middle range) or URBAN HOTEL (3*) (Breakfast,Dinner)
Day 2: Drive to Tsiroanimandidy
Drive westward to Tsiroanomandidy and stop for lunch in Ampefy volcanic area. Then, we continue our journey to Tsiroanimandidy country’s largest zebu cattle market.

Day 3: Drive to Belobaka – Trekking
We have a half day drive in Bongolava region. After having a picnic lunch we’ll continue our journey, then trek for about 30 minutes to Beamboaty village and reach our campsite.(B,L,D)

Day 4: Trekking to Ankavandra- Canoeing down to the Manambolo River
Trekking about 3hours towards Ankavandra village, the starting point of the canoeing safari.
After lunch we’ll start our journey paddling in red shallow and tranquil river that meanders through the scenically flat immense plains.

Day 5: Manambolo River canoeing
Full day paddling. We will view some herons, egrets, whistling ducks and shore birds.
We’ll pass through small hamlets, and have stop to encounter local villagers.

Day 6: Manambolo River canoeing- Gorge of Manambolo
Full day canoeing.As soon as, you get inside the Gorge of Manambolo River, you will enchanted by the limestone massif of Bemaraha covered by evergreen forest which boasts lemurs, vasa parrots, and Madagascar Fish Eagle.Manambolo Gorge is fascinating with its blue lagoon streams.
The limestone plateau of Bemaraha is covered by lush vegetation which inhabit some lemurs and birds.

Day 7: Gorge of Manambolo River- Bekopaka Village
Depart early in the morning to reach Oly.We’ll explore the forest and its animal species, such as Brown Lemur, Sifaka, Western Mongoose, Madagascar Harrierhawk and the rare bird Madagascar Fish Eagle.
Then, we will enjoy swimming in a blue pool before lunch.
Afternoon departure to Bekopaka village before, the ending point of the river trip.

Day 8: Bemaraha World Heritage Site
Depart early in the morning to the "Grand TSINGY" which lies 17km on a track. We’ll explore the majestic Grand Tsingy, walk inside its famous labyrinth and climb to the top on a rope bridge which reveals a 360° panoramic clear view of the immense Tsingy range.
After having a picnic lunch, we head back and visit the "Petit Tsingy", which lies near Bekopaka village, to look for Decken's Sifaka, Brown Lemur, the indigenous Giant Jumping Rat, Madagascar Fish Eagle... Accommodation at CAMP CROCO HOTEL (basic) or SOLEIL DES TSINGY HOTEL(3*) (B,L,D)
Day 9: Drive to Morondava
We'll head southward on our four wheel drive vehicle to Morondava coastal town, and have a stop at Belo-sur-Tsiribihina for lunch.
After crossing Tsiribihina River with a ferry, we continue our drive through the kingdom of baobabs, an immense savannah with several stands of 3 species of baobab trees (Adansonia Grandidieri, Adansonia za, Adansonia fony). Then, we'll have another stop at the Baobab Alley for sunset.

Day 10: Fly to Antananarivo
Transfer to the airport for our flight to Antananarivo. Upon arrival, we’ll visit some curio shops if time allows.
We’ll have a farewell dinner at Villa Vanille.

Day 11: Departure
You will be transferred to the airport for your return flight.
