You will have the opportunity to discover the highlights of wild Menabe or western region, including the Baobab Avenue, Kirindy Forest which inhabit Verreaux's Sifaka, Brown Lemur, and the tiniest primate 35gram Pygmy Mouse Lemur and their predator’s Fosa.
Then, you will explore the Tsingy of Bemaraha World Heritage Site which reveals the extraordinary history of the Vazimba (Madagascar's first inhabitants) civilisation.

2-ITINERARY: ANTANANARIVO-MIANDRIVAZO-KIRINDY- BEKOPAKA(Bemaraha)-MORONDAVA

Day 1: Arrival
Arrival, meet and greet at Ivato airport and transfer to the hotel located in Antananarivo capital city.
Dinner and overnight at ASIA AFRICA HOTEL(4*) or CARLTON HOTEL(5*) (Breakfast,Dinner)
Day 2: Drive to Miandrivazo
Full day drive to Miandrivazo, which lies in the middle-west. We’ll cross the central highlands with its picturesque landscapes of Merina villages surrounded irrigated rice paddies. Then, continuing our journey westward.

Day 3: Drive to Kirindy forest
Full day drive to Kirindy, which is located about 60km north of Morondava the capital city of the western region also called Menabe. We’ll cross savannahs with sparse Sakalava hamlets. The west is the kingdom of baobabs (Adansonia grandidieri, Adansonia za, Adansonia fony). We’ll stop at the Baobab Avenue before heading to Kirindy.
We’ll have a night walk to look for Fork Marked Lemur, Dwarf Lemur, and the tiniest Pygmy Mouse Lemur.

Day 4: KIRINDY FOREST
Full day exploration of Kirindy dry deciduous forest, which is home of Madagascar largest carnivore called FOSA,and some lemur species such as Verreaux’s Sifaka, Brown Lemur, Giant Jumping Rat, and some birds such as Giant Coua and Sickle Billed Vanga…

Day 5: DRIVE TO BEKOPAKA-Visit of the Tsingy of Bemaraha World Heritage Site
Depart northward to Bekopaka via Belo sur Tsiribihina, where we take a local ferry to cross Tsiribihina River before heading to Bekopaka.
Afternoon visit of the Petit Tsingy, a small part of the Bemaraha 152 000 ha of vast eroded sharp karst pinnacles massif which has been declared a World Heritage Site.
The "Tsingy" or sharp karst pinacle massif is featured with grooves, labyrinths, caves and underground streams. Certain caves contain some relics of “Vazimba” or Madagascar's first inhabitants.
The Petit Tsingy is home of some lemurs such as the Decken’s Sifaka, Brown Lemur, the rare Giant Jumping Rat and some birds including the rare raptor, Madagascar Fish Eagle which can be seen around Manambolo River.

Day 6: Excursion to the Grand Tsingy(Bemaraha National Park)
Morning drive to the “Grand Tsingy” which consists of immense massif with wide grooves and labyrinths.
We'll walk inside those labyrinths and climb to the top on a rope bridge which reveals a 360° panoramic clear view of the immense Tsingy range.

Day 7: Drive back to Morondava
We'll depart early in the morning to Morondava coastal town and stop at Belo-sur-Tsiribihina for lunch. We’ll have another stop at the Baobab Alley for sunset.

Day 8: Fly back to Antananarivo
We will be transferred to the airport for our flight to Antananarivo. We’ll have a farewell dinner at VILLA VANILLE restaurant

Day 9: Departure
You will be transferred to the airport for your return flight.
