Day 1: Arrival
Arrival, meet and greet at Ivato airport and transfer to the hotel located in Antananarivo capital city.
Dinner and overnight at TAMBOHO HOTEL (3*) or LE CHALET DES ROSES (2*)
Day 2: Drive to Fianarantsoa
Depart to Fianaranatsoa via Ambositra wooding carving center. We`ll cross the central highlands with the picturesque landscapes of Merina and Betsileo villages of thatched roof red clay brick houses with balconies, several irrigated rice paddies, eroded hills, and granite outcrops.
We’ll stop at Ambositra for lunch and visit some wood carving curios.
Dinner and overnight at ZOMATEL (3*)
Day 3: Drive to Isalo
Morning departure to Isalo via Ambalavao renowned for its handmade Antemoro paper fabric. The paper is created using ancient methods is a cultural heritage from early Arabic settlers.
Visit of ANJA Forest to view Ring-Tailed Lemur. Then cross an immense “no man`s land “desolate savannahs with sparse of Accommodation on half board at RELAIS DE LA REINE
Day 4:Isalo National Park
Full day trek in the spectacular eroded Jurassic sandstone massif of ISALO National Park featured by variety of ruinform sceneries, canyons and natural pools.Those canyons give refuge for Ring-Tailed Lemurs, Verreaux1s Sifaka and Brown Lemur.
Some weird plants like Pachypodium rosulatum rosulatum are clanged on the cliffs.

Day 5: Drive to Toliara
Heading southwest to Toliara town. The southern Madagascar is characterised by a sub-desert region, with dunes, thorny vegetation and unspoilt white sandy beach.
Ifaty is an ideal spot for diving and water sports with the large 250km coral reef which protected the south -west coastline.

Day 6: Drive to Anakao
Early morning departure to Anakao, it has a quaint fishing village that offers lobsters, calmars and octopus.
This area is one the best places for water sports. Snorkelers, divers and surfers delight at the coral islet of Nosy Ve, which lies a few kilometres offshore.

Day 7: Excursion to Nosy Ve
Excursion to Nosy Ve to enjoy the beautiful lagoon of Nosy Ve Marine Reserve and to observe the Red-Tailed Tropicbirds that inhabit the islet.After having a picnic lunch , we'll sail back to Anakao.

Day 8: Drive back to Tsimanampetsotsa
After breakfast, we drive to Lake Tsimanampetsotsa wetland. We' ll have a full day visit of the lake and the surrounding forest.

Day 9: Drive to Itampolo
We ll have a full day drive on a sandy track, to Itampolo beach. Along the western coast are numerous beautiful, remote beaches with blue lagoons and coral reefs. Thorn trees thrive in the white sand dunes. We’ll have the opportunity to see some endemic radiated tortoises roaming in the area.We'll have some picnic lunch on route

Day 10: Drive to Lavanono
Today we’ll continue southward on a rough sandy track to Lavanono. The south is the most remote and uninhabited region of Madagascar. We’ll cross some Mahafaly villages and observe their typical brightly painted tombs decorated with elaborated carved wooden stelea.We'll have some picnic lunch on route

Day 11: Drive to Faux Cap via Cap Sainte Marie
Leaving Lavanono, we’ll head to Cap Sainte Marie at the most southern tip of Madagascar. Cap Sainte Marie has a coastal zone bordered by both the Mozambic channel and the Indian Ocean.
We have a morning visit of the Cap Sainte Marie Special Reserve, which is noted for preserving fossil egg shells of the extinct elephant bird “aepyornis”.Some strange dwarf plants grow on the rocky costal area, while the eggshells cover the beach.

Day 12: Drive to Berenty
This morning we depart to Berenty Reserve. We’ll drive inland, crossing some grassland and small towns before reaching Berenty. We arrive at our destination in the afternoon.
Before dinner, we will go for a night walk in the spiny forest to see the tiny Grey Mouse Lemur as well as the White-Footed Sportive Lemur. AccommodatioN ON half board at Berenty Lodge (basic)
Day 13: Berenty Private Reserve
Full day exploration of the Berenty riverine forest to have a close up look of some groups of “Dancer Sifaka”, Ring-Tailed Lemur and the Common Brown Lemur,to view fruit bats, several bird species such as Red Tailed Vanga, Giant Coua
Visit of the AREMBELO Museum
Day 14: Drive to Fort-Dauphin and Fly to Antananarivo
We'll have an early morning visit of reserve before our transfer to the airport for our return flight to Antananarivo.
Afternoon visit of some curios if time allows. Then, we`ll have a farewell dinner at VILLA VANILLE restaurant. Accommodation on bed and breakfast at TAMBOHO HOTEL (3*)
Day 15: Departure
You will be transferred to the airport for your return flight.


    • In remote places like ISALO, ANAKAO, BERENTY there is NO ELECTRICAL POWER.
      Generator runs only from 06PM to 10 PM and from 7AM to 9AM
    • During the camping , there is no electrical power, we use candles.
    • During the camping , use water purification for water supply
    • Madagascar is a French speaking country, an English speaking tour guide is recommended if you don’t speak French
